I started being the tutor for a foreign exchange student attending my university from this October. Supporting her in almost everything was much harder than I had expected. However, there are a lot of interesting points of Japan that I learned for the first time from this experience. So, I am going to share these fascinating points of Japan in this article.
The first point is about Japanese transportation. We can always easily take buses, trains and taxies in Japan. I am sure if you live in Tokyo or any big city, you can benefit from these conveniences. People living in Tokyo now cannot wait for a train even only for a few minutes because they have never waited long for a train in their real life. The exchange student commented on this, and I appreciated only then how good the transportation system is.
The second point I now appreciate is the kindness of Japanese people. The exchange student and I had a problem, as we did not know how we should register for her residence card. However, at that time we went to the city office, the staff in the city office helped us with everything - we did not even have to ask them. They did everything that was needed without our requesting it. From this experience, I realized that most Japanese people will generously take care of others and strangers, like in this situation.
In conclusion, I am proud because I think I live in the best country in the whole world. I believe that Japanese people can get things done that they want to any time. Moreover, I am happy I noticed these admirable points of Japan at this time, so I can better appreciate my culture from a young age. Thank you for reading my report!

　私は9月から、日本女子大学に学びに来た交換留学生のチューターをしている。彼女のサポートをするということは、私が想像していたよりも大変なことであった。しかし、初めて知る日本の魅力がこれらの経験からあった。
　はじめに、日本の交通について紹介する。私たちは、いつでもバス・電車・タクシーに乗る事ができる。東京や東京のような大きな街に住んでいる人々は、この恩恵を受け取ることができると私は確信している。東京に住んでいる人は、短い時間も交通機関を待つことに費やすことができない。留学生がこのようにコメントしてくれたことによって、私はその素敵な制度に感謝することができた。
　２つ目は、日本人の優しさについてである。留学生と私は、在留カードの登録の際に、分からないことがあった。しかし、私たちがサポートの要請をする前に、区役所のスタッフの方が来てくれた。この経験から、日本人は困っている人を助ける魅力的な特徴を持っていると気づいた。
　結論として、私は世界一素敵な国にいることを誇りに思う。加えて、私はチューター活動を通じてこのような素敵なことに気づけて幸せである。
