Correspondence Course

Japan Women’s University’s correspondence course has a history going back more than fifty years when it became the only course of its kind for home economics in Japan. It has so far produced about 8,000 graduates, with a current enrolment of about 3,600 students, ranging in age from 18 to over 90. Although it can be hard to continue one’s studies while raising a family or pursuing a career, those who overcome the difficulty and graduate from the course find that they benefit greatly from the knowledge they acquire.
